I used to paly paintball alot when I lived in South Carolina, but when we moved to Florida the closest field was a hour and a half away. I sold my gun and all my stuff on ebay, but know I am in college in Jacksonville and there are a few fields around here, so I am thinking about getting back into it.

How accurate are the AirSoft guns? I know the good ones that are made in Japan are $250+ and thats not talking upgrades, but I have never played it. Is it more fun than Paintball? What are the positives and negatives? Thanks

Luckily, you live near CA, the "mecca" of US Airsoft (it's pretty big there). How far away do you live from CA?
Well, If I decided to type out all the pros and cons of airsoft compared to PB, I'd spend the whole night here! I'll answer your other Q's though.....
Accuracy-AEG's (the ones that are $200+ in Japan, will run you $250+ stateside) will outrange PB guns by about 30 feet. Most are accurate out to 100-120ft w/ out upgrades.
Personally, I think it's alot more fun than PB. It's alot more milsim, and that's what I like. I couldn't stand speedball.....
