Q: Why don't dogs eat citrus fruit?
I couldn't decide between 1 and 3 so I just voted 3.
#1.
Did I win?
1.. the citric acids are too strong for thier stomachs?
They do you just have never seen it.
Although if I had to choose one I would say one, because citric acid is a pretty strong acid.
shock wats the answer
Nobody else has said three so I'll go with that, #3.
I know that citric acid is very bad for a dog's urinary system (mainly kidneys). Cocoa and citric acid in big quantaties will shut a dog's kidenys down.
Well I choose #1
But really there Normmy, the reason dogs don't eat citrus fruit is they can't climb trees.
Now dogs like monkeys have long tails but the er'a dogs never learned how to use their tails as an extra arm like monkey's did.
So dogs decided to be man's best friend instead. Because they knew man would
give them meat which taste's better than fruit. Usually monkey meat.
So the dogs got the last laugh.
To this day that is why we all don't have monkey's as pets.
