I think we drafted him too early. There were still plenty of better players on the board yet. Im sure he will play well for us, but im not happy passing over some of the other players.

To say mccants has an attitude problem is an under statement. Take it from a tar heel fan, that isn't exactly what the wolves need, after the whole spreewell problem last year. Mccants kind of reminds me of ricky williams a little, as far as the way he interacts with teammates. He is all about himself and doesn't seem to befriend his teammates. He seems like a loner.

But, he can flat out score. He is a great 3 point shooter and also has a good midrange shot. He likes to run and get down court fast. he was also unstoppable in college, when posting his defenders up downlow.

D and attitude are the big problems with him. If he can fix them, he could be a good pick for minnesota, but it was a very risky pick and I don't know if it was one the wolves should have made, with a guy like granger on the board, or a stud like gerald green.

Minnesota did get a great shooter in the 2nd round, taking bracey wright from indiana. He is undersized though and isn't great at creating his own shot. More of a vashon leanord type of spot up shooter.

Here`s what I think about the Wolves selection. They picked the man out of college instead of Gerald Green because of what happend with Ebi. Back then they could wait for Ebi to develop. Now they need a player that can step in quicker than a highschool kid. The thing about Rashad is that he`s a shooting guard thats 6`4. He`ll be outmatched on defense. Green is 6`7. But just a couple months ago McCants was projected to go first overall. Steal or just another headache? During Draft workouts he sat out the one on one drills saying that he was hurt or sick. He did all the other drills though. We`ll see. His upside is too hard to ignore though. He`s a damn good player.
