Where there any Viking allocation players on either of those two teams. I know Aaron Hosack was on some team and he had a great season but I was wondering if we had any other players in the World Bowl?

Also Hosack is on the top 15-20 for touchdowns. So he might be getting of 3rd team this season if he brings it back with him.

According to the Vikings home page there were 7 players allocated to NFL Europe:

    Name Position School
    T.J. Cottrell TE Buffalo State
    Travis Dorsch P Purdue
    Jason Fife QB Oregon
    Aaron Hosack WR Minnesota
    Brandon Newton OL Hofstra
    Dan Orner K North Carolina
    Shannon Snell OL Florida

Does anyone know how well the game has been accepted in Europe? It looks like most of the teams are in Germany..., why is that? Are the games newsworthy at all in Europe? How popular is the NFL?

Yeah! I was stationed in Holland for three years. Soccer is big still. I wish they had football when I was over there.

Well, its soccer land and they have rugby there big time so I bet its like soccer is here......the only one of those guys to make our team this year will be Dorsch....not that Hosack is good, but our team is waaaaayy toooo deep!

Snell played on the OL of the Berlin Thunder and saw his team lose to the Admirals   good to see the german team lose.
Actually there is an interest of things NFL in Europe and the UK and the popularity of the NFL is starting to rise again.

Actually Skol you asking that has given me some thought for my next blog - so I'll get that down online within the next couple of days and give an idea of the perception here of the game on this side of the pond.
When I've done that I'll let you guys know that its available
    Incidentally .. Go Admirals !!
