    America's Marines - Extended Version

I have had the blessing of serving our country in both the Army National Gaurd (2 years) and the United States Navy (20 years) so I think that I am qualified to say.......

Semper fidelis to my fellow shipmates aka Leather Neck.

Very nice. Great scenic shots...and I guarantee any one of those Marines could catch a football better than Troy Williamson.

    Marr,

I didn't realize you where a dual service, Veteran.....I am also,
having served 4 years regular US Army followed by four years of CTANG,
Then topping that off with 2 1/2 years of serving in the USMC.
Yup, I"m a good old Leather Neck myself
    " OORAH"....

I"ve always been proud of the WWI German given term name of
    Devil Dogs also,
    meaning
"teufel hunden" the ferocious mountain dogs of Bavarian folklore.

I can't get your link to work, so don't know exactly what your reffering your statement to.
But I was proud to serve next to Navy personel during my time of duty.

I LOVE THE SMELL OF VICTORY IN THE MORNING AIR.

It works, just checked it again.

It shows a drill team working the sticks (Weapons) all across America.
    Very touching.

That stuff used to bore the shit out of me but now I love to watch them.

Different animal when you are standing in formation under a hot sun waiting for them to get done impressing the crowd.

Now I'm just another guy in the crowd that sheds a tear when I see this stuff.

No disrepect to this Dress Blues thread, but this scene from "Stripes" has always killed me.
