The Boundary Waters are simply beautiful.Ely, Minnesota
I took a canoe trip there last summer, and it was fun as hell, a lot of work, but fun.
A good chunk of the area doesn't allow motors on the waters, so they seem untouched.
Theres a "leave no trace" rule where any garage you have, you take it with you when you leave.
(at least u don't need to take your "human waste" like you do in the grand canyon tho
)
