    Amazing but Sad Photo

Tornado that hit the Boy Scout camp in IA

I have no idea if this is from the actual camp or just the one from the area but wow. How they got this close

It is amazing how beautiful these things are in still shots.....
I'd much rather see the Packers miss the playoffs because of their talent then because of their injuries.

Very majestic type photo, but man are they destructive and life takers.
To this day, I've never seen one in person, but have seen water spouts, the Ocean or any open body of water's version of a tordnado....I could care less to ever be close to one though...

OMG, I didn't realize this happened NP,
That is very very sad indeed.
May God take them in his arms and care for them.
    May they RIP...

And to the familys, May God help comfort them and guide them thru this most traggic of times in their lives.

What a lose of young life.
Never an easy topic to deal with.

Hopefully their will be no others and if others where hurt, may they all have fast and 100% recoverys.

    Re: Amazing but Sad Photo

Being an Eagle Scout, I am heart broken that four young men lost their lives. It isn't fair.

Of course, I can say that what I've heard from the media about the other scouts at the camp, and how they acted makes me very proud (older scouts protecting the younger ones, the immediate first aid response available from trained scouts, leaders, etc).
It could have been a lot worse.

I remember some times at various camps when bad weather hit, scared the crap out of me several times.
... and that was nothing compared to this.

Nothing scarier than being in a tent and realizing there is essentially nothing between you and Mother Nature.

    RIP my brothers.
