Good call, why didn't I think of that.I just ran to Blockbuster and rented NCAA 08 during lunch.
Probably won't buy either.
I usually rent NCAA and keep it long enough to turn the Gophers into a powerhouse and by then Madden is out and I can draft the NCAA players.
Yeah, that is a pretty good idea. Because you never end up playing NCAA after Madden comes out! lol
I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

There's always time for Madden, it's called "neglecting your responsibilities", lolStill like playing Madden, but with two kids under 5, there isn't any time to.
I haven't bought a Madden game since 2000.
I m like a Ja Rule poster, cause I'm off the wall.

Ok, just finished playing the game.
It is tits. It is over 100% different than last year. I don't feel like going into details, but take my word: It's amazing.
And the wildcat formation is just wow. Amazing. I have the 360 version, but I can imagine it is this good on every system.
Go buy this game. Now. Make your kids sell lemonade for money.

No man, I started a "campus legend" mode earlier. It is where you go from the high school playoffs, to signing with a college team.
My guys name was Singersp. "Singers" was the first name, and "P" was the last. Like Master P, you know?
Anyways, it went great the first game. He had 4 picks and 17 tackles - as a DE. After that though, he was kicked off the high school team and had to sign with South Central Louisiana State University. He got kicked off of the mud dogs too. He kept showing up to practice with .40's and stinking of sex. After all of the cheerleaders, trainers, and the deans daughters were knocked up, they finally gave my guy the boot. "Singers P" still made it to be a campus legend though. But not on the field.

Yeah, the Campus Legend thing is way better than Superstar mode in Madden.
I like how it fast forwards the game until you're back on the field.

I don't think Peterson is actually in the game. Last year wasn't Reggie Bush on the cover and not in the game?"baumy300" wrote:
I think I'll be waiting for Madden in a couple of weeks. 2k8 looks interesting, has anyone heard if it is any good? Ncaa doesn't interest me much, although playing with Peterson against college defenses might be fun. Do they always use players after they leave college for the nfl or is that new?So today is the day. No more waiting.
Today NCAA football 2008 and All pro football 2k8 are released. The wait is coming to an end.
After a few hours of work today, I am going to do my annual duty and purchase Ncaa football. I am pretty excited about this years version.
However, freakin all pro football looks tighter than a nuns legs at Cajuns house. (Not that Cajun would try and sex up a nun or anything...)
Anyways, I own a 360, but are any of you buying either of these today? I know someone else has this day marked on the calender.
They just take advantage of the players' new status to sell games.

No, Peterson isn't in the game.
McFadden and Slaton are though. So is Noel Devine, and he is crazy good in this game.
I would say buy it. It is a game for those of you who love football. It's very realistic and very fun to play. I am highly impressed after a few lackluster years by EA. They really turned things around.
