Thread: Ace Combat ROCKS

Well old man 6-KINGS is really getting into PS2.
Ghost Recon (all)
Gran T.
Splinter Cell
Battlefront
Then there is my latest addition. Ace Combat.
Oh holy crap this is an awesome flying combat game!
I have just begun to scratch the surface of what all it has.
Really starting to pile up the $$ and bought the good fighters.
That Russian SU-27(I believe that is right) handles like a dream, turns on a freakin dime too.
I got so used to the F-4 that I could waste all but a few Top Guns. Then I moved to the F-16, then F-15 now that thing can dogfight.

Man I bought napalm last night and just fried the targets.
They say you can buy nukes too.
Now how cool will that be?!

So if any other PS2 gamers want a good one Ace Combat is it.
Lots of good tips on line also.
I don't use cheat codes but hints I use all I can find.

World Championship Poker is a pretty fun game too for only 20 bucks!! If you like playing Texas hold em and other card games it's nice cuz you can't lose any real money!!

So are you willing to branch out at all 6-Kings or do only fast machines and guns please you? I'm not trying to criticize but I play videogames way too much and the PS2 library is soo good that there are a ton of hidden gems.

Well I don't believe in even pretend gambling. It's a sin.

Sometimes when I am down at the bar smokin' dope and drinkin' with my girlfriends we talk about stuff like this.
Most of the time it is quiet cuzz we have the porn on though.
But we turn it down and chat about what is right and wrong in the world.
I remember when I was getting my tattoo this very subject came up.
So I stay away from gambling, that will lead you straight to hell.

Well I play Pacman, SpongeBob and Scooby Doo with the kids too.

What type of "branching" are you suggesting?

Adventure games mostly. God Of War is simply incredible. If your wife is against gambling she probably won't like Grand Theft Auto too much but those games are very well done.

Also: Burnout 3, Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal, Metal Gear Solid, and Devil May Cry.

I don't know if you like soccer but Konami made an awesome soccer sim called Winning Eleven 8. Far better than FIFA in my opinion. Although I hate WWE, the wrestling games can be fun. PS2 has some sweet fighting and RPG games but they are more intense and time consuming.

I almost bought Devil May Cry this past weekend.

And my wife likes to gamble more than I do. LOL

you should try Final Fantasy X and X-2, those games are awesome i highly suggest them.

the graphics are outstanding and the stories are greatly told. I hated the movie though. I cant wait till they make FF for PS3
