Thread: A7X, Coheed and Head Automatica concert

Just got back from the concert this morning. It was so crazy.

First off. The opening act was Head Automatica. I wasn't expecting much because I'm not a HUGE fan... but they were really good. They sounded awesome live and they knew how to work a crowd. Their bassist and Drummers are really good. I enjoyed it. They played some songs from an upcoming album.

Second was avenged sevenfold. We waited a while while they set up a curtain and everything and finally we heard the drums being set up and stuff so we went to around the middle of the mosh pit. Finally the curtain fell down and this smoke like flew in the air and the mosh pit pushed way up. They played beast and the Harlot to start off and they went crazy. From then on it was insane. Syn played a 20 minute solo before Eternal Rest and M. Shadows trashed ALL OF THE HATERS THAT TALK SHIT ABOUT A7X behind MESSAGE BOARDS. ahem.. It was sick to say the least.

Finally it was Coheed and Cambria. I wasn't expecting much but they were really good. They have a lot bigger of a fan base than I thought. Claudio is really awesome live.. He played the guitar behind his head, behind his back, with his teeth, and with a picket fence prop. :shock:
That was some of the craziest shit I have ever seen in my life. The crowd went crazy when he brought out what I think was an 18 string double neck guitar for Welcome Home. Wow.

All in All it was insane. Great Concert. Avenged sevenfold is great live so whoever said they weren't a while back is an idiot. :smile:

Yeah the crowd was really out of it until they played that song. They got pretty crazy when A7X came though.

I know right. That solo was amazing and then when they played the intro to Eternal Rest I just kept yelling guitar god. It's true. One magazine I read said it was unfair that Zachy and Syn were in the same band both playing guitar.

yes buts its oh so true
i almost feel bad for him not getting some of the limelight, but then i listen to them and i'm just glad they have who they have

but back when justin sane was in the band, the bass was pretty intense.
not to say johnny christ is bad or anything though

but yeah. zacky is still pretty sick, and him and gates is almost like carter and moss
