I guess being the top scoring offense of all-time gets you to 5th on the listMC's run away when I kick it
They act so chicken, they should come with a large drink and a biscuit

IMHO SI and ESPN both hate the purple. Chris (Im in love with Steve Young) Berman is always bashing on the Vikes. NFL network seems to be pretty fair to the purple.

A successful coach needs a patient wife, loyal dog, and great quarterback - and not necessarily in that order. -- Bud Grant

Re: 98' Vikings Top 5
If the Vikes had won the Superbowl in 1998 they would have been # 1 on this list, but they didn't so they are 5th.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Re: 98' Vikings Top 5
Out of all the years ive been a viking fan, and thats going back to the mid 60's, I truly believed in my heart that "98" was our year to win the super bowl. That was up to the minute when when Anderson missed the field goal against the Falcons in the NFC Championship game. Once that happened, I had a feeling that was the end of our dream season, and thats exactly what happened.
But I do have another good feeling inside of me lately that we are on the path to something really speical, in the near future.
I have a strong belief, we will be again, representing the NFC in a Super Bowl within the next 3 years, or sooner.........
I LOVE THE SMELL OF VICTORY IN THE MORNING AIR.

The 1998 Vikings was one of the best offenses ever. I was at the Championship game with my girlfriend. (How this that idiot miss that kick-It still bothers me to this day)

Re: 98' Vikings Top 5
How are we not #1? We scored the most points in NFL history. It's not because we didn't win the Super Bowl either, because that 2004 Colts team didn't either!
