Re: 8 year old Reggie Bush.

I have a 13 year old neighbor that makes that kid look mediocre. No joke. He's one of the best wrestlers in the nation at his age group and weight class (130 I believe). He's the fastest player every time he steps on the field, has great natural running ability, and can run people over. He's stronger than every lineman on his team, and stronger than a lot of guys in the high school. At 13 and like 130 during the football season he's bench pressing 170. He's a beast.

The kid is one of the best athletes I've ever seen. If you want to compare this kid Cody Paul to Reggie Bush, my neighbor is Adrian Peterson, he has size, speed, strength, a mean running style, and can make people miss but would rather punish them.

My kids are in Jr. Football and that is not an 8-year old league.
    They look a bit older.

While this kid has the moves . . . virtually every league in the country has a kid like that in it.
However, the older they get . . . the talent begins to mature . . . and they become ordinary.

    Maybe he'll become the next BUSH . . . but we'll see.

Wow! That guy can run....that's for sure.

It's not like it really matters what the dude looks like. Adrian Peterson could be the first mauve running back as far as I care as long as he plays well, but there is a noticeable trend.

Re: 8 year old Reggie Bush.

The thing that surprised me the most was that these 12-13 year olds were running the Toss offense.
We ran this offense in High school and went to state just by pounding the football.
This offense makes everyone on offense a blocker, as you can see in the clip the quarterback becomes a blocker once he "tosses" the ball to the RB.
It also features many pulling lineman, which was the real shocker to me, 12-13 year old pulling lineman?
    Who does that?
I'll give the credit to the coaches for teaching this scheme to these kids and credit the offensive scheme for their success.
My old coach had a video about this offense when we adopted it, High schools in California were running it and murdering people because it just wears the opponents down, and once you get deeper in the playbook there is a lot of misdirection.
Good video and good athletes on this team though, no doubting that.
