Re: 3rd-graders aimed to hurt teacher

Maybe death is warranted for not letting them stand on a chair.

    Certainly.
After all, it must be their right to stand on chairs and not listen to an adult. We wouldn't want to damage their self esteem...

what do u think the teacher did?
    Here's the real reason:

The children, ages 8 and 9, were apparently mad at the teacher because she had scolded one of them for standing on a chair

wtf is this world coming to when kids wanna hurt someone cause they couldnt stand on a chair? Eff'n pathetic
It's because parents can't spank there kids anymore and kids aren't told no
This is probably the biggest problem with kids today.
Not all kids need spankings/corporal punishment, but all of them need the fear of it. The lack of it today drives me crazy.

What I do like is all the oldies talking about, "Kids today"...

I've got to admit though... kids today are more informed than any other generation before them, including "Back in the day"

    This is one isolated incident...
    Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

"Oldies" have opinions that are formed over years of life experience and watching society change for good or bad.
When I was a youngster who thought I had all the answers, an "Oldie" suggested I pay attention to our seniors for wisdom gleaned from the school of life.
    Are "Oldies" always right?
    No.
But for the most part it was pretty good advice.
