Also, the dutch should have gotten a corner, they didnīt it was a goal kick and from that attack the spanish scored.

If you think Webb didnīt favor the Spanish than I guess you take a second look at the game.
First up I'm sorry your team lost, three World Cup Finals and four Superbowls that's hard to take. However I think you maybe need to take the orange tinted spectacles off if you think Webb favoured the Spanish.

If he did why did he not.....

    1. Send off De Jong for his Bruce Lee impersonation on Alonsos chest.
    2. Red card Van Bommell if not for the foul he was booked for, the two or three after it which deserved a second yellow.
    3. Give a straight red to Schneider for has studs up tackle (I think it was on Pedro), I have seen players go for similar challenges before.
    4. Yellow card Robben for kicking the ball away after he was caught off side in extra time, two yellows equals red for him as well. He did book Xavi later for the same offence.

Don't get me wrong there were some decisions that he got wrong the other way as well. He could easily have sent off Puyol for tugging back on Robben but IMO there was an advantage to be played, maybe in this instance Robben was too honest. And yes it should have been a corner before Spain scored but Holland got the ball back from the goal kick, I think what they were complaining about was a possible foul on Elia after that befor Spain broke.

It's just a pity the game turned out like it did and I actually feel sorry for Webb, but the Dutch players have to take some responsibilty for what went on. I suppose it's always easier to blame the ref than actually look at themselves. I mean did Webb take a fresh air shot from 8 yards out or miss the best chance of the game when he was one on one with the keeper?

    Dutch tactics upset Johan Cruyff

Dutch football legend Johan Cruyff has launched a scathing attack on Netherlands' display in the World Cup final, deriding it as "anti-football".

The Dutch received nine yellow cards, and a red card for Johnny Heitinga, as they lost 1-0 to Spain in South Africa.

"Sadly, they played very dirty," Cruyff told Spanish newspaper El Periodico.

"This ugly, vulgar, hard, hermetic, hardly eye-catching, hardly football style... If with this they got satisfaction, fine, but they lost."

I donīt have orange spectacles on, actually iīm pretty done for a while with soccer. As you said, three lost world cups, and 4 superbowl losses, I feel like iīm the one whoīs bringing al this bad luck.

On the other side I agree with Rockmolder, I also felt that the Spanish were better but my belief is that Webb couldnīt control the game and that he fell for the dives of the Spanish.

    Anyway El, my friend congrats

Re:2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa

Nicolas Anelka suspended for 18 matches by France over World Cup revolt

    • Captain Patrice Evra gets five-game ban for leading boycott
    • Three-match ban for Ribéry and one-game for Toulalan
    http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/aug/17/nicolas-anelka-banned-for-18-matches-france

If this stands up that's the end of Anelka's international career, banning Evra and Ribery won't help their Euro qualification hopes either. Couldn't happen to a nicer team.
