2008/09 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1
The latest Car and Driver has an article on the $100K production supercar Corvette.
600+ hp and they think unlike the regular vettes, it will qualify for the gas guzzler tax.
Wish I could afford one...
Wow!!!!

Looked at the 'Vette, however, needed 4 doors.
This particular 'Vette is very, very impressive.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

As a matter of fact, I do know

It looks the same. I'd rather have a Ford GT.

The ZR1 is the most expensive and most powerful production Corvette in history, with a price of about 100 grand ($110,000 for the loaded 4LZ trim level) and an estimated 620 horsepower at 6500 rpm and 600 pound-feet of torque at 4000 rpm from its supercharged LS9 6.2-liter V-8.Can we get a picture?
It is the first factory-built Corvette to feature forced induction, and it will also be the first Corvette to top 200 mph off the showroom floor. The idea that such a Vette could exist is certifiably bonkers.

If you parked one next to a normal C6 or Z06 you'd see the differences.
I remember when the C6 generation came out and folks claimed it looked like the C5s.
Once you put the two together, you saw a lot of differences."All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."

Way to much money to be spending on a car but it still looks sweet.

I'll stick with my 06 MINI Cooper JCW convertible...

Sweet.
Although I like fast cars my insurance doesn't.
Maybe, just maybe I will get something to restor (probably a Mustang) when I retire and I have paid off my current hunting vehicle.
Come to think of it, wonder how I would get a Dog box strapped to the back of a Stang and how it would do in the mud.
Better keep the F-150 for stuff like that and to pull the boat.
