2004 Madden Challenge Champion!

In Green Bay Wisconsin, when I won the 2004 Green Bay Madden Challenge.

In Las Vegas, when I met William "The Fridge" Perry.

I know it looks like I won 50 thousand dollars but thats not the case. Every year Ea Sports has a Madden Challenge.They have been doing this for the last 3 or 4 years and each year it gets better. There is a big tournament held in 32 cities around the United States. It's 10 dollars to enter the tournament and in each tournament there are over 500 competitiors and there can only be 1 winner from each city. If you win in one of the cities Ea Sports gives you and a guest a FREE trip to Las Vegas to compete for 50,000 thousand dollars. Back in 2004, I ended up winning in Green Bay Madden Challenge. This tournament was held at Lambeau Field.

The funny thing about this, is that the entire day I was playing, I was using the Minneosta Vikings(and I was wearing my Daunte Culpepper jersey). It was a single elimination tournament, so if you lose, your done. I had won 9 straight games and eventually it got down to the last 2 people.( me and another guy) And it just so happen, that the other guy, was using the Green Bay Packers. For the final game, we got to play on a plasma screen TV and there was like 200 people behind us watching this final game. I got off to a great start and was leading 14-3, but then he started to come back. He scored a touchdown and suddenly he was only down 4 points. Then he stopped me in the 4th quarter, got the ball back, and had a chance to win the game. Then he threw a quick ball to the sideline, Antoine Winfield jumped it and ran it back to the house for a TOUCHDOWN! And after that everyone knew the game was over.

In December, I went to Vegas to compete for the 50 grand. I didn't win the 50 grand in Vegas but it was a real nice trip because EVERYTHING was paid for plus I got alot of free stuff. I also met some famous athletes such as Kyle Turley, William "The Fridge" Perry, Jeremy Newberry, Lennox Lewis, and some other people. It would have been real nice to win the 50 grand but it's still a big accomplishment because I was 1 of the people who made it to Vegas and over 15,000 people tried throughout the United States.

Thats pretty awesome man, wish they had a madden challenge where i live.(i probably wouldn't win it all, but it would be fun)

Mabye next year you'll get the 50K

Thats cool PurplePride. The best part was hearing you played with the Vikes and wearing a CPEP jersey in Lambeau. I bet you got a lot of crap over that.

^ Exactly, that was the best part, beating the Green Bay Packers, while we were literally playing at Lambeau Field. Because a lot of the people who were watching, were rooting for the other guy, simply because he was using the Packers.
