Seven: fantastic movie, but really not that scary. Anyone else see teh brillance of Morgan Freeman?

Re: 20 Scariest Movies of All Time

All dose movies dey listed, fuhgedaboudit!

Back when I was just a young punk in da reform school, I saw a movie called "The Haunting". (Dis was da original 1963 movie, not da stoopid remake.) Anyways, I was messed up for months after dat one, y'know? I was convinced dere was ghosts in da house. Creepy, black and white gothic horror movie, wit' spooky music too, all witout no special computer effects! And dat house! Sheesh! I wouldn't go inta dat house witout a platoon of Green Berets wit' me, y'know?

'Course, I'm old school, an' dere are more modern movies dat scared me, like "Alien", and "The Ring". But, I tink about "The Haunting", and it still gives me da creeps.

I don't find horror movies very interesting in general...although The Silence of The Lambs was so well written and well acted that I would make an exception in saying that it was a good movie, horror or not.

movies don't scare me anymore, but i do remember a few of those when i was younger. jaws gave me nightmares, don't remember seeing the shining when i was young cause i know that would have scared me. Hostel was probably the best horror/thriller movie i've seen in a while.

I watched Silence of the Lambs when I was about 10 and it scared the piss out of me. It was the first movie that haunted me and for that I'd have to say its the scariest.

Im with you on that one. Seven was great, but it wasnt that scary. Theres alot on that list that arent scary at all. The last few movies to scare me was The Ring and The Exorcist : New Begining.
