$2 million collection of cap guns
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/bizarre/4941433.html

SAN ANTONIO — It's all about the smell of firing a roll of caps.
That's how Charles Trois explains his obsession with cap guns, which led him to amass a whimsical collection of the toys.
Whimsical, but, according to Trois, worth about $2 million.
"It reminds me of the innocence of the 1950s, when I grew up and the world was nothing like it is today," said Trois, who was born and raised in Philadelphia. "We had absolutely nothing, and those were some of the best times I have ever had."Kentucky Vikes Fan

"It's all about the smell of firing a roll of caps"..got that right! that rates right up there with inhaling Pam cooking spray or sniffing glue LOL..I do remember the best part of caps was smashing the whole box of them (5 or 6) smaller rolls with the biggest rock you could hammer'em with..or using a magnifying glass to start them on fire.

I'd also use my fingernail to quickly scrape the cap & make it go off.
I also remember those little rocket shaped missles/bombs you'd put the caps in & when they hit a hard surface, they'd go off.

Re: $2 million collection of cap guns
When my cousin was in high school for some reason she had a roll of caps in her pocket.
Well she went into McDonalds one day and she put her hand in her pocket get her money...well the caps had gotten warm, went off and burned her hand really. When they went off the girl behind the counter though someone had shot a gun and dove behind the counter screaming.

This is the same one that was on Oprah for her burping ability.
She also had a full ride track scholarship to Iowa, but she quit because Tim Dwight called her dumb and she didn't like the color of shoes they gave her.
