Would never work in the NFL, too many great athletes on defense and the QBs look like they take a beating.http://highschool.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=825031

Really interesting stuff.
Great for HS, but I think it would become less and less effective the faster the players get.

Sorry I didn't see your earlier post Zeus. I just picked up the story on
Yahoo and did a quick search on the "Clubhouse" and didn't see anything so I figured it was new. Hadn't read about it before. Interesting story.Kentucky Vikes Fan

Re: A-11 Offense Could be the future of football
i love this style of football. don't get me wrong, i love seeing some RB's pound it out, then use a big play action..
but to me- this is a more technical aspect to the game.. it will require the opponents to become faster and smarter.i m better than you, so just give up...

Re: A-11 Offense Could be the future of football
Here's a page that tells all about how the offense is run: http://a11offense.com/
PFT has an article on it today:
"...we’re going to try to figure out whether the formation could be used at the NFL level without violating any of the applicable rules."

With all those prima donas on the field at one time, who's going to block?
“What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. It’s the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"
