I was talking to Syd the other day (100%cheesefree). Randy Moss bought him a ticket to the game so that he could jump to him if he gets a TD... He was going to represent the Vikings... Him and Moss are good friends.
Exactly, he told me back in August that he had two front row tickets to the game

I bet you a hundred million neither will happen
Barring another trade or some sort of huge downturn for the rest of his career I think it will be close.
If Randy wins a superbowl with the Patriots I think he definitely retires a Patriot, but if not I still think there is a chance he retires a Viking.
You have to remember he spent 2 years in Oakland and it's only his second year in N.E. and he's starting to reach an age where he might not be the freak anymore.
Then again maybe he'll be one of those age defying players.
But 7 mostly great seasons with the Vikings will be hard to balance out against unless he plays high end football for 4 or 5 more years in N.E..
    Just my opinion.
not sure he'll retire a viking, but thats not the argument.
My point was his number will never be retired here unless he comes back and brings us to the superbowl.

he also won't go to the HOF as a viking, since you don't go to the hall as a member of one team, but rather just a player.

Not true. The teams you played for are listed with your name in the hall of fame.

I feel like the Vikings arent a team that is forced down your throat by the league. Moss' presentation will be engulfed with footage and Brady will probally speak about playing with him. We just aren't that improtant to the league because we don't drive much revenue. Hell, C.C is 2nd on almost every important receiver stat and he was left off the HOF list this year. If he was a Cowboy, he would have been in there.
