What should the Vikings do with their second pick?

I started this post to see what people think on this subject. I think that the first pick is so far up in the air that its hard to grasp what the Vikings could do with it. I think though, in the second round they should take Brian Leonard from Rutgers or Dewayne Jarrett if he falls this far. I have really fallen in love with the idea of picking Leonard in the second round. I think that this would have an immediate impact on the Vikings run plans. Leonard is a multiple position back and can help take wait off some of the carries that Taylor will have to receive next year without either a good QB or good Wideout. I think that the Vikings will address one of the two in the first round. Jarrett at one time was my number one guy for the Vikes at 7 but I think that his stock has fallen to the point where we should either move down to get him or decide to take Brady Quinn or a RT at the 7 spot. What does everyone else think?

    Cop-out answer:
it all depends on the first round selection.
Answer continued to eliminate the cop-out....

    A. Assuming Quinn, Peterson or DEs Adams or Anderson are taken in the 1st rd:
trade away a 4th rd pick if necessary to move up into the top of rd 2 to take a WR.

    B. Assuming a WR is taken in the 1st rd:
take another WR if a quality WR is available ( most likely will be the case ),
    if not...
take a DE or DE/LB tweener who has great pass rushing skills.

I don't believe a CB should taken until rd 4.
At that time, select a CB who has good kick return & punt return skills.

Let me add a rd 3 option, which wasn't part of the original thread question....

Round 3: select a WR if a total of 2 hasn't been taken in rds 1&2, and if 2 WRs were taken, select an OT who is capable of playing RG and RT.
When we stop to think about it, most folks behavior isn't perplexing after all !

WR...even IF they take one in the first round.

We don't need a CB with kick return skills...we already have Charles Gordon, who hasn't even shown what he can do yet.

Find a sleeper LB (one that can play the middle) in Round 3, then OL and ST prospects the rest of the way.

BUT my preference would still be to trade up and get Calvin Johnson...to give TJack every chance to be successful.
IF he flops, then we will have a very high draft pick NEXT season to pick the next great franchise QB (Brian Brohm maybe?)
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

I'd say the Vikings need a CB with return skills ESPECIALLY because Moore is fragile and Gordon HASN'T shown anything yet, and he may never do so.
    If Gordon had 'good'
return skills, that would have been discovered in training camp last year.

I say draft a tight end. Maybe Zach Miller from Arizona State?

Draft a WR. Sidney Rice, or Anthony Gonzalez. I also like the idea of Miller but we could pick up Spaeth in rd 4. I think a good DE is also a need so perhaps a DE/LB like Purp suggests.

Assuming they don't screw up in the first round and reach to take a WR, it is definetely WR in the second. I still like Davis, (I think Rice, Bowe and Meachem will be gone) but would be happy with Gonzales or Smith. No way they take a DE here. Q. Moss is a late 2nd on some boards and may be someone they move up to get with their third. JMO

Do you mean Jarvis Moss, or Quentin Moses?

I never understood how a players stock can drop when they haven't played in months. Do you see Jarrett in the bowl game against Michigan? What did he do to fall any?
