I think in a playoff things become too convoluted to crown Florida the outright champ. Based on that bracket they probably would have played Oklahoma THEN Michigan and then either USC or Ohio State.

Playing like the Gators did last night is easy once a month, but to play at that level and beat that many top 10 teams in a row is tough for anyone, national champs or not.

I'm not saying they wouldn't/couldn't win, but I am saying that you can't say they'd be the champs definitively.
