not sure what the uconn reference is, but the huskies had the 64th best recruiting class (according to rivals.com) and minnesota was only seven spots higher, thank you very much. considering minnesota went to a bowl last year and uconn didn't i'd say thats pretty good.pretty good list...i wonder who UCONN got as student athletes...VIking NEd? lol

This is one of the best recrutings the U's had in sometime. Wait until next year. Brewester is going to be great!
I see a national championship team in a few years here.

Re: Signed LOI for Gophers
I heard Coach saying he may have a surprise announcement during his press conference this evening regarding some possible recruits...
Did anybody here anything about this?
My guess was it was one of those 4 kids he was trying to get that already had signed, but I'm not sure.
Thoughts?

I think it was Howell because he had never been mentioned on any board. He just kinda came out of nowhere.

Re: Signed LOI for Gophers
Why is everyone saying this is a good class when we rank 9th in the Big Ten?

Because it's about two spots higher than we usually are.

And they are not counting the Jr. College transfers that we picked up that are really pretty good. One, a 4-star and a couple of 3 stars.Kentucky Vikes Fan

After the shake up when Mason was fired we are lucky that we were able to keep most of the recruits that had already committed, and Brewster was able to add a couple key additions like Howell and his son Clint.
Brewster's next 2 years of recruiting will be critical and will tell us if we got the right guy!
This year doesn't can't really count because he was only on the job for 3 weeks before signing day. What we've got here is failure to communicate.
