Squeaked out an OT win over Purdue today in an ugly game. Ducks were completely anemic in the first half, but made a fine showing in the second. Obviously the Ducks should have come in and won this game by much higher margin than they did, but the Boilermakers' defense played an outstanding game.

Plus, the Ducks' starting QB, Justin Roper, went out with what looked to be a nasty knee injury in OT. Then, on the next series, starting back Jeremiah Johnson went out limping and holding his hip.

I'm glad the Ducks came out ahead, but ultimately losing Roper or Johnson might end up being a worse loss than this game would have been.
