lol. App. State is known around North Carolina for being a party school and is full of hippy stoners. They're going to have a kick ass party tonight."BadlandsViking" wrote:
They aren't a nobody. It's always nice to see the big guys get upset by the nobodys.
They have been the Division I-AA Champions for the past two years.
While it's still a complete shock . . . you've gotta feel good for their players, getting that kind of press, and beating a team of that caliber.
Do you think there'll be any partying at that school tonight???

They aren't a D-II team.Well, college football this year is ruined for me now. We (I'm a UM fan) lost to a D-II team. No national championship. Now it's settling for a Big Ten championship and possibly, though quite unlikely, a Heisman. This blows.
They are D-1AA, and have won the D-IAA championship the past two years.
Pretty big difference.
Still a big hit though.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Re: "One For The Ages" - Appalachian State Upsets No.5 Michigan
I am upset they lost as well.
Mich and OSU play their last game against each other.
I was really hoping for Mich to be undefeated and have OSU rip it from them like they did to Cooper so many times.

The insanity begins early this year.
I like it.
Now the Gophers have an equal record to a team that was ranked #5 this morning...
