This is a very exciting time for Gopher Football. We have new coach that will be out recuriting (IE; not losing home grown talent, to Iowa and/or WIsconsin).
The Gophers are getting a new home, that they can call there own. Things are looking up for the program. Just think about it OUTDOOR Football again in Minnesota. KEEP YOUR SPIRITS HIGH, MASON LEFT NOTHING IN CUPBOARD

We don't have 5 to 10 years to keep rebuilding programs.

I hear this every year for the Gophers and the Vikings.

The time is now.
Not next year or in 2009.

I hate it when everybody talks about the dang future and it never arrives.

I saw some flashes of really good QB play in the first quarter. Unfortunatly, it didn't last much past that. But for a young redshirt freshman, Adam Weber looks like he could really be good in another year. Losing four of their starting defensive backs really hurt this team but I do see them improving at times. I like the spread offense they are playing and even though they may not win another game this year I'm looking forward to seeing them next year.

It figures - the Gophers have a 35-14 lead over Northwestern, and the defense gives it up. They go on to lose 49-48 in 2 OT, after their 2-PT conversion attempt fails.

It's getting sad.
