Re: Ohio State suspends Terrelle Pryor for 5 games
The NCAA governing body has become a joke this season, on the same level of the NFL handling of the Spygate burying.
It has become very clear that the bowl games this season, under the constant pressure of a failing BCS system and a push for playoffs, have become more important than precedent going forward on violations.
From Cam Newton to coming up with a loophole to allow OSU stars to play in the bowl game.. the NCAA has sold an legitimacy going forward on rule violations in dealing with scholarships.
The rules were clear on Newton.. yet they ignore it completely.
Like the NFL in handling the taping of coaches signals, probably league wide.. they now have integrity issues.
