Wow.....Talk about a Great answer to the press gang and an inspiring response to a question. I was wondering if anyone else has heard or seen the clip?? man it was great stuff! Talking about the Alabama program and doing things the right way...not sugar coating stuff that's wrong etc!!

This guy has it right....Gold star in my book! I'm not even a Bama fan...but you don't have to be to appreciate his comments.

I thought it was inexcusable that he would sink to the depths of comparing 9/11 and Pearl Harbor to Alabama's losses. Pretty classless if you ask me.

I don't think it was offensive or classes... I think it was just stupid. He had to know the media backlash that would come after saying something like this... but even before that, how can you compare two catastrophes like these to a measly college football game?

I have no problems with his comments. He was simply comparing the history of his football team to American history.

Yeah... I don't see anything especially wrong with that.
Not classless or whatever.
He was just saying that unexpected terrible events provoke change.
Nothing wrong there.
