Trade a Vikes ticket for a Gopher ticket - you take him, he takes you...
win/win
Granted those Goph tickets are probably in a little higher demand.

Others Receiving Votes
Kansas 138, Michigan State 136, Texas Tech 114, Cincinnati 90, Pittsburgh 64, West Virginia 55, Rutgers 51, Miami (FL) 46, Missouri 44, Illinois 38, Clemson 30, South Carolina 18, UCLA 14, Auburn 12, South Florida 11, Nevada 11, Kentucky 9, North Carolina State 7, Wisconsin 6, Arkansas 6, Northwestern 5, Southern Miss 4, Wake Forest 4, Arizona 3, Boston College 3, CENTRL MICHIGAN 3, East Carolina 3, Colorado 2, Maryland 2, Navy 2, Tennessee 2, TROY 1, Minnesota 1, Michigan 1, Houston 1.
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/rankings?pollId=2&seasonYear=2009
So the Gophs got less votes than Central Michigan, Navy (GO NAVY!), and Eastern Carolina.
It's all up from there.
I'm looking forward to the season and seeing some of our new playmakers (the athletic backup QB [s]guy whose name is evading me[/s] Marqueis Gray (sp?) at the top of the list) and of course the new field.
It's tough to tell with Brewster's fountain of optimism how good they will actually be but I'll be watching.

I'm excited to see how Grey will add to the already experienced offense..
Right now, the Gophs are ranked where they deserve to be.
Lets just cross our fingers and hope they win the games they are supposed to!Vegans are eating the rainforests. =(

Checking in with: Minnesota QB Adam Weber
ESPN.com's Adam Rittenburg wrote:
Great interview. As most Big Ten blog readers know, I'm a pretty big Adam Weber fan. He has been put under some pretty tough circumstances at Minnesota and performed well, passing for 5,656 yards and 39 touchdowns in his first two seasons as the starter. Though Minnesota's program remains a work in progress, Weber has proven himself as a leader and shown his toughness, leading the Gophers past Illinois last October just six days after undergoing knee surgery.
Weber is probably my all time favorite Minnesota QB.
Class act.
I know it's a long shot, but I hope for a very successful NFL career for the guy.Vegans are eating the rainforests. =(
