His release point looks way too low.
Not a fan of the sidearm delivery it looks like he has (not sure, only saw a few passes)

the play against pitt is just unreal!
    That first play is hilarious.
Reminds me of the old football games where once you were past the defenders you could loop around and they would just follow you in a line.

I see what you are saying on the plays where he is scrambling.
This video mainly showcases his mobility and speed (Woo compared his scrambling to Tarkenton).

If you watch the plays where he is in the pocket his arm looks fine IMO.
The early throw in the Syracuse game looks beautiful.

ANOTHER U-Rube vid of ANOTHER can't miss pro prospect?

Why don't those U-Rube vids ever have any fumbles, INTs, slips, falls, or mediocre plays?
Whenever I go to see these guys in person they seem to be unable to throw TDs every other pass, or make spectacular plays in 95% of their offenses plays from scrimmage.
    Why is that?

    ???
    Matt Grothe 2006 highlight video

What in god's name are you even complaining about.
They are called highlight reels for a reason.
This like asking why the Top Five Hits on Monday night never has missed tackles.

That has gotta be the lamest reason to beeyatch I have ever heard.
Stop complaining about the status quo, or get a new hobby.

There are plenty of videos out there with INT, fumbles and floop ups.
They are the ones that are exactly the opposite of the ones with all the TDs, long plays, and broken tackles.

"Bob, your putting too many good plays in the highlight reel again, knock it off.
It has to be 1/3 stellar plays, 1/3 mediocre plays, 1/3 horrible."

My post was intended to point out that HYPERBOLE is rampant due to U-Rube vids that only show the highlights of players who probably are good players, but who really aren't much better than many other players.

It is also intended to point out how fans are fickle and willing to believe the player they see in each new vid that is passed in front of their noses is the next superstar.

In other words, my intent is to disprove the agent hype, and point out the fickleness of fans.

Thank you for proving my point.

Now, would you like to see an incredible vid of an amazing QB from my marvelous home town who can throw a freakin' football 80 yds and run a 4.35 40 yd dash and a 5 minute mile without breaking a sweat and scramble away from any pass rushers in a 7 man blitz and who has never been sacked and was able to dodge a lightning bolt that hit the practice field and ...... ?

When we stop to think about it, most folks behavior isn't perplexing after all !

Doesn't Vince Young have a low release point too?

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

Yeah thats why they call them highlight videos. I am sure someone could put togther a highlight video of bryan Cupito and it would make him look like a for sure 1st round pick

Yeah, that's why he has to roll out to throw every one of his passes.

Who does he play against?? Anybody? Not really.
West Virginia, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, UConn, Central Florida, Rutgers, and Louisville.

It's no easier than Notre Dame's schedule, ND plays two good teams in the regular season every year, but everyone seems to love Brady Quinn.
