With 2 losses how do they get the National Championship? How does LSU get Number 2 and the Championship Game with 2 losses?? I don't think that's Justified. Have nothing against the Tigers....just wondering if anyone can explain the reasoning behind this??
Cheers!
The only other teams that have a better record are Hawaii and Kansas.
The reason LSU trumps those teams is simply strength of schedule.
They looked at who LSU played and who they beat compared to the other 2.
Is is fair?
Maybe.
But you asked why and that is exactly why.

I guess so....Can't help but wonder about Ad sponsors/ratings playing a factor too?? Easier to get more ad dollars with LSU instead of Hawaii or the Jayhawks VS Ohio State? More people will tune in??? Can't help but think about that motivation in the final decision.
Cheers!Where is Frostbite Falls Minnesota?

The networks, sponsors, and the colleges.
The network and sponsors do not want a Missouri vs. WV match-up.
Although they have good programs they do not have to same following as the big schools do.
