    Highly ranked Kentucky Player Chooses Gophers

    The reason the Gophers were able to recruit highly ranked D.L. Wilhite, (6-4, 240 pounds) from Lexington, Ky. -- home of the University of Kentucky -- is because he is coached by Oliver Lucas, a close friend of Brewster, and he was instrumental in helping Wilhite select Minnesota.
