    The Greg Orton watch

Starting this thread to keep everyone (or anyone that care's) up to date on a good friend of mine. He is a reciever at Purdue and turning into a great reciever and NFL prospect. He went to Wayne highschool here in Huber Heights Ohio where my son plays on the 7th grade team.

He had 2 catches for 47 yards and a touchdown against Toledo yesterday. Go Greg!

My son also had 1 catch for 35 yards in a 38-0 defeat of Syney...thats my boy!!!

    That's awesome!

Is your boy being scouted yet?

I hope so, just DO NOT allow him to play for the MN Gophers.
Whew, we haven't been competitors for the Big 10 title in over a decade.

Not yet...although he has some pretty decent mentors. (WR's coach was a star wideout at Cincinnati, and also mentored Greg)
He made a nice catch on a dig route (all hands) and a nice spin move and shake before being knocked out of bounds. I damn neer cried...lol.

    Re: The Greg Orton watch

    My Sunday night update...

Greg Orton 7rec for 58ds 1td against Eastern Ill.
    another solid game.

My son on the other hand, no catches just one deep ball off his hands (I might have to have him change his # from 82 to something else, sorry Troy).... in a 36-6 rout of Springfield.
