That's almost as likely as the Vikings ever winning a Super Bowl.
    No way.

The Gophers will take it back next year.
They'll win the rights to the axe MULTIPLE times before the Vikings even THINK about winning a Super Bowl.
We will bring it to the dome next year October 3!

That will be cool. I didn't know it opens next year. I don't pay much attention to the Gophers. We beat them so much I forgot they existed.
Definitely do some tailgating for that one.

    I'll be there, too.
My uncle and I have season tickets for the Gophers the past handful of years..
Gonna extend them the '09 season too.
Depending on the cost, we've yet to decide on if to keep 'em any longer than '09.

Let's be honest... if Minnesota plays anyone substantial, they'll get destroyed.

OSU, the Gophers 1 loss, has gotten beaten down twice by better teams. If we play someone the likes of Penn State or USC, we're done.

I'm rooting for them, but they haven't really proved anything yet.
That is why I was saying before that they are ranked to high.

    Why?

Because they would get blown out by the two best teams in the nation?

Didn't every team that these two teams play get blown out?

NO! Whose jiggly butt did you pull that out of?
    :

You did agree with C Mac D didn't you?
    :

He did say that if we played a good team we would get smashed

Who cares if they haven't played anyone great? Our record is good.. Not ranking them high would be like telling a team in the NFL they can't play in the playoffs becasue thier strength of schedule was weak

I have some more reasons. Chop Chop Chop!

I hate to do this to you again V4L but damn that was a beating. What happened to this team?

The opposite of what happened with Iowa.
    Minnesota peaked early.
    Iowa peaked late.

    That sucks man.

I see where the Gophers got rid of their offensive line coach today. That's a huge step in the right direction. The article says he resigned but I'm sure it was under pressure.
