A month or so ago I had never heard of the Lord Jeffs.
Now I hate them and want them to lose all their games.
Go opponents!
You should remember that the next time you go for a job interview.
If the guy you're interviewing with is sharp and accomplished, he might be an Amherst grad.
If he's stupid and a dullard, it's likely he went to the University of Louisiana.
=Z=
Of course, it could just as easily be the other way around...the Amherst grad could be someone who only got in because of Mummy and Daddy's money and scraped by with a C average while partying with their frat buddies...while the University of Louisiana grad worked his or her butt off to get as good an education as they could...working two jobs to get through school and getting a real-world education in the process.
You just NEVER know!
:D
I work with PhDs every day that have degrees from schools all over the nation/world ranging from the private schools to the Yale/Harvards to the middle-of-the-road schools to everything inbetween.
The only constant is that there is no correlation between intelligence and the university(ies) that they went to.
There are idiots and there are intelligent people....the underlying rule still applies....everyone is an idiot (just some are relatively less of an idiot).
Cajun, I couldn't agree more with your comments.
The private colleges/universities tend to have a dichotomy of graduates: money or brains.
Maybe a trichotomy is a better explanation: some with intelligence, some with money, some with intellegence and money.
It all depends on the individual.
