Wow, of all the teams that were after this kid, this is a suprise.
The Golden Gophers are getting a good one here my friends.

Whaley had dozens of scholarship offers and in recent weeks had narrowed his list of favorites to Connecticut, Michigan State and West Virginia.

Brewster must really have a silver tongue to get him to come out of state and play for us, especially with the new emphasis on the spread passing game.
It seemed like the QB had as many rushes as the RBs last year even though Pinnix was good when he got the ball.

2010 Rose Bowl here we come.

Lots of news about this guy down here and never once did I ever hear the words Golden or Gopher in any of them.

From what I hear about him on the local radio sports shows, he's a class act.
Good kid.
