Thread: Florida and Ohio State on course for potential NCAA Basketball Championship???

I was reading earlier that after Florida's loss this weekend, Ohio St could move into the top spot.
Either way, they're both top 5 teams.


Has the NCAA basketball championship ever been the same teams that played for the football championship???

Here's to OSU getting a little bit of revenge for the butt-whooping they took on the football field earlier this year.
Although, I think this time, Florida would be the favorite.
I know it's the matchup I'd like to see.
Depending on how the brackets line up, it may not even be possible for them to play in the championship, but if they both get #1 seeds, they could at least meet in final 4.

I don't care who makes the national championship as long as OSU beats sconnie this Sunday! PLEASE help me root for OSU!!

On a neautral court there are at least 5 teams better than OSU.
Depending on the matchups, they will have a very tough time getting to Atlanta.
When their guards aren't hitting a lot of shots, which happens quite often, they are not among the elite teams in the country.
If they do meet up with Florida, I can't see the Gators losing.
Come tourny time, the only teams I see matching up with Florida are UNC, Kansas, and maybe aTm and Wisky.
There are other teams that can possibly win the title but in terms of matchups, very few stand up with Florida.

I'd just like to take the time to toot my own horn.

Although, I took UCLA and OSU in my NCAA Bracket.
