    Michigan did not get jobbed.

They lost to OSU in what was billed to be the game for the National Championship.

Florida did not lose to OSU.

Florida only got in by 1/100th of a point, so it was close.

How many times does Tressell have to beat Carr?
At least Michigan has a shot at a bowl win now.

NCAA DI will never have a playoff system.
All the colleges are against it for the most part and the NCAA does not want a NFL style system.
The love all the hype and buzz...even the controversy.
This is what Lee Corso said of Jim Rome today.

One a side note, it gives me great pleasure to see Michigan fans in misery twice in one season!
    LOL!

look if michigan played ohio state again it wouldnt just be a rematch of the big ten championship it would be the rematch of the national title game. and that is NOT Fair. usc didnt get to play texas agai last year. every team that loses the national championship wants a rematch but there not gonna get it.

You could argue Michigan got screwed, you could argue Florida deserved it more, but overall the Big Ten did kind of get screwed, considering Wisconsin's only loss was to a team better than even Florida's only loss.

Please refer to Wisconsin's schedule and tell me if they got screwed.
They should not even be ranked where they are IMO.

If you weren't such a blind OSU homer, Ultra, you'd realize that he's referring to them being in the top-10 in the BCS standings but not getting to go to a BCS bowl.
That's how the "Big 10 did kind of get screwed".

Florida was the choice simply because OSU already beat Michigan. Now, when OSU beats Florida, they are the champs, no doubt about it. If it was a rematch and OSU wins, the Florida fans are left saying, "we could have beat them." If Michigan had won the rematch, as far as I'm concerned they split throught the season. Let's face it, when they met the first time, everyone knew that the winner was going to the title game and the loser would get scewed.

You bust on everyone's schedule but OSUs.

CINCINNATI, NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND BOWLING GREEN - 3 of the 4 non-conference opponents this year for OSU

INDIANA, ILLINOIS, NORTHWESTERN - the 3 bottom-feeders of the Big 10, all of whom OSU played.

WISCONSIN, PURDUE - 2 of the top 5 teams in the Big 10 which OSU did NOT play.

You need a better all-purpose comeback than to point out the schedule.
Yes, OSU played Texas and yes, OSU played Michigan.
    So what?
They patty-caked their way through 75% of the non-conference schedule and then didn't face all of the top teams in the Big 10, but, instead, feasted on the losers.

Re: Finally, everything I'm thinking in writing: Michigan got jobbed.

As I have written in here earlier, this has been my first year of following college ball a little more closely than I have in the past. (College Ball has never been shown on TV in my country).

But all this BCS system BS have allready kind of taken my interest away from the game. There is simply too much discussion and not enough ball.

In the current discussion I guess you can say that both teams are good enough to get a shot, but the Florida jump were really strange to me. The week earlier Michigan were overtaken by USC. And does anyone really think Florida would've overtaken them if USC had done the job over UCLA. Of course not, then it would've been Ohio->USC->Michigan->Florida

Then you can say as one article does that it was worse in the past. Thats probably true, but the fact remains that all this BS takes it away from being a true sports event, and into becoming a crazy political chessgame, that really bores me.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.
