Re: The Fiesta Bowl
Boise didn't play one ranked team until last night.
Everybody they played was weak but last night they played well.....

I personally think that the vikings need to go after that coach to be our OC. We need his plays to get the croud into it, I know its not going to happen but that would be awesome to see.

Its his first year as the broncos head coach, I think he would do good with the vikings, but i would hate to see him leave the broncos. Boise state will probably have to pay him more $$$$$ this year if we want to keep him. He was awarded the key of Boise today and it was crazy when the players got back, over a thousand screaming fans were there to meet them.I personally think that the vikings need to go after that coach to be our OC. Oregon State was ranked.
Although not when they played, but they were a ranked team meaning that they were somewhat good.
And Hawaii was not far off from being ranked.

Would you schedule them for Florida as one of your non-conference games not occupied by FSU or Miami?Boise didn't play one ranked team until last night.

Or would you rather play Middle Tennessee State at home in front of a packed house?
Big schools won't schedule Boise State or Utah or any of the other mid-majors with any regularity because they know that one loss can kill them.

True Hawaii QBs get lots of passing yrds playing in the run and shoot. However, June Jones was a coach at the NFL level, and his specialty was QBs. Heck, he wasn't that bad of a QB himself. I think that Brennan and Chang are two different QBs. Brennan shows more poise and better decisions. I wouldn't mind bringing him in with a low pick.
