Copied and re-posted my comment, from the QB options of 2010 thread...
Nordic, Zach Frazer will bring us the Big East this year!! GO UCONN
Wow, how I really wish that was going to be true Neph.....Sad thing is, UCONN lost some very very good Key players last year, and I believe they will be taking a step back a little.....I think they will be okay, but not championship quality.
My guess,
Rutgers is going to be VERY GOOD this year, and take the BigE.....
It was nice to see all those UCONN kids getting picked in the NFL Draft though.
That was kind of a first for us.
I think that kid Brown, (RB) drafted by the Colts, is going to be a very solid NFL RB....He reminds me a hell of alot like our old RB
Robert Smith.
Two teams I think that will be very solid this season in the NCAA are,
Ole Miss and Penn St.
My Big East Pick will be :
Rutgers
But in my heart, I'll always cheer for the UConn Huskies
Yeah I figured you post it here. I'd hate to say Rutgers, but just maybe we can pull it off...just way too much talent was missing this year from last years squad...we should at least get a bowl game

Considering that half the teams in D-I football make bowl games, that's not that great of an accomplishment.Quote:

or the papajohns.com bowl
Rutgers D is looking fast this year.
We've lost quite a bit of talent on the other side of the ball though.
Teel, Britt, Underwood, Fladell, Blasczyk(sp), Brock, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple other guys.
We had a bunch of really solid athletes at WR redshirted last season though and had some great recruits and are going into the season with a pretty stacked backfield, so they could really burst onto the scene. However, that's all speculation.
We snatched up a few Florida recruits over the past few years... team speed is seriously improved over rosters in the past. But I'm still not too confident.
Syracuse will win it..NOT! I see maxxim rated them the worst team in D-1..nice.
Winning the big east is like winning the ping pong tournament in rural Minnesota.
Uconn Plays another sport besides basketball? Well who knew? I guess I learned something new today.
