Thank You! I have given up on the bowl games since they basically mean nothing anymore. Hawaii not in the National Championship? So what if they get their asses handed to them i think they could win. The deserve to go.None, the whole thing is a sham and scam that does nothing but reap huge dividends into the pockets of the schools and doesn't settle a damn thing.
Until they figure out how to crown a real champion, vice some computer generated solution, I will only watch the games to see potential draftees.
Of course my disdain for all things that are college football can be attributed somewhat to my teams (Golden Gophers) lack of recent success.
That is like saying that the Patriots could go 16-0 and then be told "sorry you can't
go to the superbowl because your conference is to week". Seriouls

GEORGIA WILL HAVE HUGE HOME-FIELD ADVANTAGE
cft.com
Hawaii has an uphill battle to beat Georgia in the Sugar Bowl, and that battle just got a little more uphill, thanks to Hawaii's surprising decision to turn down 4,000 tickets to the game.
The Sugar Bowl offered Hawaii 17,500 tickets that it could then turn around and sell to its fans. But Hawaii's administration decided to accept only 13,500 because it didn't think it would have that many fans who wanted to travel all the way to New Orleans. Georgia gladly accepted the 4,000 additional tickets.
It turns out Hawaii's administration was wrong. The 13,500 tickets sold out quickly to Hawaii season ticket holders, and now many Hawaii fans are furious that they will miss out on going to the game. Instead, they'll watch on television and see Georgia fans sitting in what should be part of the Hawaii section.
So the fans at the Sugar Bowl will consist of 13,500 Hawaii season ticket holders, 21,500 Georgia season ticket holders, and about 30,000 fans who get their tickets through other means. Given how much closer Georgia is to New Orleans than Hawaii is to New Orleans, it seems fair to say that the vast majority of those other 30,000 will be cheering for Georgia, and therefore Hawaii will be playing something close to a road game.

The pressure will be on Colt Brennan and the Warriors. He's got his coach telling the world he's the greatest player in college football, the Warriors are playing an SEC team, and now the university administration basically spits in the Warriors' face.
If they can win this one, it will be as big as Boise State vs Oklahoma.
Go Vikings!
