The Big 10 is making a comeback.
Illinois now has a team and Minnesota could be a contender in a few year.
Michigan is going to take its lumos this year, but never count them out.

Wewt!!
They matched their season win total from last year!

I would've been at that game, but I was standing for my cousin in his wedding in Des Moines, IA.
From what I read, their defense still is leaks like a sieve.
Hopefully they can fix this.
Actually, their defense looked pretty good overall. Much better than last year. There was only one player who really was bad and that was Defensive back Ryan Collado who let NIU score on a 52 yard and 91 yard pass. Their rush defense looked really good.

He went 7/10 for 75 yards and a TD. Yes he did make a dumb mistake in the red zone throwing a pick but I am not worried yet. That bad ass running game will always leave the passing game open. I just hope he can limit those mistakes.

ESPN - Wild day around the Big Ten - ESPN.com's Adam Rittenberg

Wild Day Around The Big Ten
September 20, 2008 3:41 PM

ESPN.com's Adam Rittenberg wrote:
The Terrelle Pryor era is upon us. Joe Paterno spent the second half in the press box. Purdue and Central Michigan played a classic at Ross-Ade Stadium. Northwestern had one of the weirdest wins in recent memory. Minnesota is, like, really good. Iowa dominated the stat sheet but still lost.

And it's only 3:30 p.m.

It's been an eventful day to say the least around the Big Ten. Here's my quick take on each team as we get ready for kickoff here at Spartan Stadium.

more..
My favorite part:
Minnesota -- Wow. I didn't see this coming. Florida Atlantic looked to be a good challenge for the Gophers. Guess not. Adam Weber has been arguably the Big Ten's best quarterback to this point, and Minnesota looks to have two viable running threats (Shady Salamon, DeLeon Eskridge) despite the loss of Duane Bennett. But the real story is the defense. The nation's worst unit a year ago held Florida Atlantic to 3 points and continued to force turnovers.
I know..
it's only the non-conference schedule.
But, honestly, who expected THIS?
I'm lovin' it.
