Icy mall parking lots with mindless minivans and SUV's, they scare the hell out off me at this time of year, I want to put tires around my car like a tugboat for protection.
I know people have had the life sucked out off them in the mall with the mall music carols and crowds, but you still are suppose to stop for a stop sign in the mall lot not just race for the exit..

I love christmas! It's one of the few days a year where you could walk through the worst parts of town and people will smile at you. It seems really easy to get a girlfriend around this time for some reason. It's perfect weather. Kids are always so happy. Merry christmas everybody-escpecially you droppper!

Way to go derail the thread with your optimism. Have you ever tried to find a bag on christmas? It's nearly impossible, even the pot dealers go to church on Christmas.

I really only have 2 issues with christmas. How can we produce tons of new non-christmas kids show each year but still end up seeing the same old ones year after year. Don't get me wrong I love Rudolph, Charlie brown Christmas ect but when was the last time time there was a new kids Christmas special on TV. Also it seems like teh Salvation Arm bell ringers are out earlier and earlier each year.
I will give when I can, and my son even did
Bell ring time with his Cub scout troop but I swear I saw them like the beginning of November.

I hate Christmas because every year I ask for the same thing for Christmas: World Peace. Know what I get? Socks. Fucking socks. Granted, some of them have been really nice argyle socks, but that still hardly compares to a planet free from war, death, or violence. What a bunch of horseshit!

Perhaps if you were to give those socks to a needy child in a 3rd-world war torn country that has no socks, you could be helping to spread peace.

Bitching & complaining about the socks or other gifts one receives just spreads to anger & hate & a lot of anger & hate by a lot of people eventually leads to wars.

Perhaps if people would quit bitching about what they got or didn't get for Christmas & take the time to be grateful they even recieved something, appreciate what the gift represents from the gift giver, then take another minute or two to ponder about all the people who have nothing & don't get anything & another minute or two about what the gift of life means & how precious life itself is, the world would be a happier place, wars might cease & peace prevail.
