I am not responding to ANY of the previous posts which were automatically pulled into the quoting.
So I have trimmed the quotes only to show yours and not needlessly and endlessly repeating the 5 previous posts.

You quote what you are addressing.
If it's the flow of the whole conversation and it is relevant than quote it.

It is just as annoying to have a post floating listlessly in space that is addresssing something and you have to go back into the thread to figure out what in the hell they are talking about.

Bottom-line is that there are all levels of idiots on this site.
With >7,000 members we will never agree.
If you don't like the topic or the way someone posts then don't read it.
Nobody will care either way.
To sit here and try to dictate how someone quotes, spells, uses grammar, or other trivial things is pointless.

I would rather concentrate on destroying the content of the post iif it is warranted.

There is this cool thing you get now adays. They make a mouse with a scroll wheel in the middle...... it's so neato....you can use it to scroll down from the top of a page to the bottom. It also works on that finger strength for important things like picking those wild hairs out of your ass that makes you feel entitled enough to judge the way someone quotes.

What many of you are forgetting is that if you ask somebody to shorten a quote, you are only asking for it to be really fucked up.
Some people try and fail, miserably.
If they accidentally delete one of the tag brackets, [ or ], then it really looks like shit and you do not know who the fuck is saying what.

If someone is all bent out of shape over a quote, get the fuck off the site.
