    LOL!
It is not worth checking out if you already live near Duluth.

It is located in Kimball, MN and is probably one of the smaller places in the state.
They do have a nice terrain park setup though with a tow-rope so you don't have to take the lift every time all the way from the bottom of the hill.
Your probably talking about 300 vertical feet.
    LOL.
If your going for jumps and rails, it's really not to bad.
If your going for actual skiing or snowboarding though, look elsewhere.

    EDIT:
On second thought...I have no idea where they come up with the name.

There is no "powder" to speak of..the surface is more like that of an ice cube.
    ;D

There is no "ridge" to speak of either...more of a bump out in the middle of the great plains.
    ;D

Ouch! I had a skiing accident last summer but it was from water skiing, not whatever this is. We were at the lake and I was water skiing and I managed to get caught in the rope (don't ask how!). I ended up being drug underwater for awhile and yeah... long story short, I ended up tearing ligaments and damaged some nerves, and I also got a pretty bad rope burn around my ankle. There is still a huge bump around my ankle and of course, a scar from the rope burn. I was pretty lucky it wasn't worse. I still got to play volleyball that season! And I can't wait until summer, so I can go skiing again!! Haha
