    Re: Quitting Smoking....

Wellbutrin worked great for me last year & I really cut back on my smoking while I had pnemonia.

This year while I'm trying to quit, it did squat. So now I'm on both the patch & the gum, which is recommended if you smoke more than 1 pack a day.

The 21mg gum works wonders for my morning craving & the patches seem to be doing there job. I'm also supplementing my program with hard candy & it's working great for me.

I haven't had a smoke since Wednesday morning & the craving have been diminishing in quantity.

Drinking alcohol while your're trying to quit smoking is about as bad as shopping in a pastry shoppe when you're trying to diet!

How's it going for the soon-to-be-non-smokers?

I've been a non-smoker for 11 days now & it's going pretty good. I still get the cravings, especially first thing in the morning, but the gum takes care of those.

    Thanx for asking Shock.

That's because you tried it cold turkey!

If you smoke more than a pack a day, you should be on both the patch & the gum. If less than a pack, one or the other.

Unless you plan on taking Wellbutrin.

Why make it hard on yourself when there are things available to make it easier on you and your family?
