I'll join ya too bro.. I'm not an everyday smoker but I should quit too..
My mom quit cold turkey and it's been over a month and she hasn't looked back.. She stays busy at work all day.. Then cleans and stuff at home to keep from doing it.. And takes walks and stuff to keep her mind off it.. Well doesn't need to do that anymore.. But yah it helps

Re: Quitting Smoking....
I have smoked longer than alot of folks on here have been alive. It is my greatest regret. My lung capacity has decreased by at least half and what was once a pretty healthy set of lungs probably look like one of those tar boxes that roofers use to melt their hot tar.

I guess that tells me you do indeed drink? :lol:That is an awesome thing to do. I am in high school right now and I'm always gettin peer pressured to smoking, chewing, or drinking. I prously say that I have never smoked or chewed.
I hope your quitting goes successful

I guess that makes two of us. I quit once, but stress from a rough time in the family got me started again. The patch does help singer, that's how I stopped the first time. But you need to get past the 'hand to mouth' urge during cravings. That was the hardest for me, and I'm dreading going through it again! Someday...[move]"Our day WILL come!! I just hope I LIVE long enough to see it!"[/move]
