Does this happen to anyone else?

This goes to all Viking fans not near the general Minnesota area.

Whenever I meet someone who is also a Viking fan, it seriously helps make my dad. I see Viking fans around here (NJ) so rarely, that any time I find one, it is a significant event.

Also, whenever the Vikes are on TV causes a large celebration

Anyone else ever feel like this?

My dad was made long before me.

But, yeah, I know what you mean.

Directv, you should look into it, well worth the price.
Every Viking game at your fingertips.

Up until November 2005, I'd spent the last 19 years on the East Coast, surrounded by fans of New England (86-90), the Jets and Giants (90-95) & the Redskins (95-05).
I learned to love the sports bar, and they learned to love me!

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

I lived in places other than Minnesota or the Dakotas for more than a decade while in the military and going to college.
My last stop was in Macomb, IL, which hosted the training camp for the St Louis Rams.
I was a lone purple beacon in a sea of Bears and Rams fans.

When we moved back to North Dakota the first thing I did was buy season tickets to the Vikings.
It was sooooo nice to be back among the chosen fans again!

I have lived in MN all my life.....but it still is super fun to find a person that is serious about the vikings and actually knows something about the game to chat with. It is super fun.

    Thanks Josdin00 for the sig!

I've never actually met another vikings fan. They're obviously not very good decision makers anyways.

I actually met a new vikings fan in NJ yesterday.

Someone who's been on my track team for 2 years. We were talking in the weight room when he said something about owners and money blah blah blah, when I told him the Vikings owner lives one town over, he responded "Zygi Wilf?" I was like, yeah thats him, and he goes, "No way I'm a huge vikings fan"

And then we talked about the draft and basically everything else.

I told him to come to PPO, but I don't know if he did.

I used to be that one guy in the corner by the little TV in the corner that yells when everyone else is quiet and everyone looks at him weird.
Didn't mind it, I was just spending a lot more money doing that than I do with Directv.

I'm in Cali & don't see too many. There are a couple here at work, but most are Raider or Niner fans. But yeah, NFL Sunday ticket was one of the best purchases I've made. Each year if you are a returning subscriber, it gets cheaper.

Re: Does this happen to anyone else?

To be honest I find it hard to find any NFL fans let alone Viking fans! In the 20 years of being a Vike I have only ever seen 2 other people wearing the purple in Scotland, that's why PPO is
    invaluable to me.
