Okay - let me answer these questions as best I can:

    1.
It has not been released for whom Junior will drive next year.
There are rumors that he could drive for himself (he has a Busch team, JR Motorsports) or go and drive for either RCR (daddy's old team) or even Yates.

    2.
    The #8 belongs to DEI.
Unless he finds a way to buy that number from DEI, he will not be driving that car next year.

    3.
The sponsorship is with DEI, not Dale, Jr.
I'm sure he has alllll sorts of other deals with A-B for the commericals and appearances and all that stuff, but Bud sponsors the #8 car right now, not the driver.

That said, I'm sure A-B knows they would be incredibly STUPID to stick with DEI without Jr.
So I'm almost 100% positive that A-B will follow Jr. wherever he goes.

    4.
One of the rumors has Truex going with him to JR Motorsports (Jr.'s team).

I'm just in awe of how stupid Teresa Earnhardt is in this deal.
It's not like DEI is a super-team (like Hendrick or Roush) who can just plop drivers into spots and they will suddenly win races.
She has deluded herself to believe that DEI has value w/out Jr.
In 3 years, when DEI is struggling to make races and bringing only 1 souvenier trailer to each race, she will rue this day.

    Dale Earnhardt, Inc.
The team his daddy founded and for which Jr. has run his entire career.

Never takes long for someone to make an asinine comment about NASCAR, does it?

I expect junior to bring his team into the Nextel Cup Series, and Budweiser will follow him.
I hadn't heard the rumor about Truex following him, but I could see it happening.

This is a great move for Jr, horrible for DEI.
But it was bound to happen sooner or later.

The best move, IMHO, for all parties would have been for Teresa to sell Jr. and Kelley (his younger sister and business manager, from what I understand, she's a real smart businesswoman) 50.00001% of the DEI and keep it together.

Jr. will struggle with his how team, but the fans will follow him regardless.
DEI will keep fans because of the allure of the old 3 brand, but will struggle w/out the passionate following of Jr.'s fans.

I don't agree that it's a great move for Jr., unless he ends up at RCR, driving the 3.
