    Battery powered chili?

    So my day was rolling along great until I went to temp the chili before putting it out for lunch.
    My digital thermometer came apart, launching the battery into the pot of homemade chili.
    I was like wtf?
    ??? And of course there was no finding it quickly as it was one of those little calculator batteries.
    Luckily I was only reheating half of the batch, so I had to start over and people had to wait an hour before they could get chili.

    Oh well.
    That's a Monday for you.
